This mountain, east of Akayu and overlooking Hakuryu-ko, is one of Japan's most prominent hangliding areas and was the site of the 1993 3rd Women's World Hang Gliding Championship. If you're interested you can enroll in either the hang gliding or the paragliding classes which are offered here.
