The NAGANO SAXOPHONE QUARTET was formed in 1985 by four saxophonists of the Nagano Community Band.Since then, we are active an immovable member and have many repartries from classic works to modern works.We aim at harmorious and comfortable sound.

The NAGANO SAXOPHONE QUARTET played togeher with Mr.NOBUYA SUGAWA the most fomous saxophonist in the world.

We have been present at concerts and contests and higher estimation every year.

Performed on the Japan Saxophonist's Festival in 1989,1991,1996.

Performed on the All Japan Ensemble Contest in 1991,1993,1997.

Award the Asahi-newspaper prize by "Self by four ways"composed by YAYOI HIRABE in 1997.
