Furai-bou has only dormitories. The basic style is ‘without meals’, ‘slfe cooking’ and ‘sharing a room’.
Except for a chartered plan guest are to share a room. In order that women can put their mind at ease, rooms are separated for male or female. However, during busy period, men and women possibly share the same room.
On the seashore open space in front of Furai-bou, you can enjoy pitching
a tent, camping, having a camp-fire, having a barbecue party and so on.
As for bathing, guests are supposed to use only shower; please constrain
soaking in a bathtub.
To the guests hoping to soaking a bath at leisure, we reccomend Shimoda
Spa, which is reputed for its good spring quality and is only about 5 minutes
by car. The spa is . In Shimoda Spa, there's a public spring named 'Shirasagikan'.
Bathing charge is 200 yen.
A mattresses and blankets are prepared but quilts aren't. In winter season
taking a sleeping back is preferable.(rental quilte blancket \300)
Bathroom accessories are required to be prepared yourself.

The left side(21㎡): 5double-deck beds; commands a view of Amakusa-nada.
The right side(13㎡): 3double-deck beds; faces east and is rich in morning
light.
 
Living & Dining room
The large wooden table ; as many as 12 persons can take a seat.
Please enjoy yourself, having a meal or having a pleasant chat.
The Japanese-style room ; aPC is furnished, as a free spot, please make
yourself at home, searching the Intenet, reading a book or listening to
the music on the sofa.
Kitchen
Wide and clean kitchen; a set of cookware is furnished, and simple seasonings
are provided.
Facility fee isn't placed. The sea and mountains nearby is a treasure trove
of foodstuffs.

Seaside open space & wood deck
The view from the wood deck is super. It's special to have sun-set dinner, beer at one hand.
On the seaside open space, you can have meals, and enjoy badminton,volleyball,
playing catch as well.
Tents and BBQ stoves are available.
 
The sea in front is a good spot for diving, snorkeling, sea-kayaking and
possibly surfing.
For fans of fishing this is also a good spot for squids, perches, greenfish
and so on.
At the low tide in spring tide the beach is crowded with people gathering
shellfish.
 
Wood-deck in the garden
The deck is through living & dinning room, facing to the east.
It's fun to take dinner or afternoon tea.
Furai-bou farm
Several vegetables in season are grown in Furai-bou farm.
Please harvest and make use of them for your own cooking.
Of course they are free, they are welcome vegetables !
